Creative Christmas Gifts: World Vision Christmas Gift Catalog

GC coverWe’re Sharing Big Dreams This Christmas!

The World Vision Gift Catalog offers hundreds of ways to reflect the spirit of the Christmas season. With items across various prices and categories that help lift children, families, and even entire communities out of poverty, you can bring meaningful assistance to those in need — and let loved ones know that you did so in their honor by emailing or printing out a card to present on Christmas Day.

Follow our “Creative Christmas Gift” series! On Wednesdays on the Women of Vision blog until Christmas, we’re sharing a few gifts from the Gift Catalog by project sector.
11/5: Child Protection and Education
11/12: Channels of Hope for Gender
11/19: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
11/26: Maternal and Child Health
12/3: U.S. Programs
12/10: Economic Development
12/17: Last Minute Gifts

For Women of Vision chapters:
1. Wondering how to receive the Gift Catalog? To order World Vision Gift Catalogs for your Women of Vision event or chapter gathering, please let Jeanie Ralphs know. She has hundreds to share with you!

2. Wondering how to use the Gift Catalog effectively? Here’s a creative idea – the East Bay chapter hosts a Gift Catalog Tea in early December each year. Women invite their friends, gather together in a home, and serve Christmas treats and tea. They introduce the Gift Catalog to attendees and provide a way right there for each woman to give – either by check, by phone (to the Women of Vision Helpdesk 1.877.968.4968), or online (via the chapter website).

3. Wondering how to give online to the Gift Catalog through your chapter? Go to the “GIVE” page on your chapter website. Select the “World Vision Gift Catalog” option in your giving list. Your chapter’s source code is attached to whatever is purchased online via that link.
