Syrian children flee war
More than 75,000 children are among the Syrian refugees who have come to Lebanon to escape the civil war in their homeland. Many have lost their homes and have experienced bombings and shootings. Now, with the onset of winter, they face freezing conditions, many without adequate shelter. World Vision is providing food and hygiene supplies to refugees, also blankets, stoves, and fuel. World Vision also runs Child-Friendly Spaces — safe areas where children can enjoy fun activities and recover from the pain of war. View the photo gallery.
