Giving with a Global Mind

As we think about gifts to give this Christmas season to our family, friends and co-workers, I encourage you to think bigger.  Think of the people who made the gifts, the people who grew the materials and the people who will be impacted. We can change the world as we shop!

What can you do with your giving this year? This week, Women of Vision is focusing on “Giving with a Global Mind” – a series that will explore the power of shopping and how we can best be stewards of that responsibility. This series will help you not only to survive the holidays, but to find tools to move through this season with intentionality, compassion and understanding.

As the shoppers in our families (for the most part) we women control 80 percent of America’s purchasing power. Every dollar we spend demonstrates our values. Let’s use this power for good!
