Christmas Wishes from Women of Vision
We asked some Women of Vision leaders from across the country to share their Christmas wishes and big dreams with us. Their answers are moving and challenging. May they be an encouragement to you this Christmas season.
Our Christmas wish is for compassion, tolerance and forgiveness to be felt throughout the world. We also wish for a renewal of energy and strength for all our dedicated volunteers who work so hard to make a difference in people’s lives. – Gail, Fairfield County, CT
That love may conquer fear in thoughts, actions & decisions; that the heartbreak of loss & devastation be redeemed in this world; that we see each other through God’s eyes…..and act upon His vision; that the light of hope be shared by all, and that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
– Melissa, Orange County, CA
That this scripture will ring true for Women of Vision and each of us personally. “He has told you, O man (woman), what is good, and what the LORD wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” – Karen, Columbia-Willamette, OR
I wish that this year we would see the hearts of men and women in the Bay Area softened and open to providing a hand up to those in need both near and far. – Linda, East Bay, CA
That there would be no greater affection of my heart than the Lord Jesus Christ. – Kathleen, Albuquerque, NM
My Christmas wish is for a massive softening of hearts of those who ‘have’ toward those who ‘have less’–food, shelter, safety, hope–yielding an astounding shift to share and care more, fueled by God’s loving-kindness. We are His hands. – Vicki, Orange County, CA
My Christmas wish is for our gracious Father to expand my capacity for knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in the suffering and oppression of His beloved around the world and grant me the ability to articulate those issues to those He allows me the opportunity to engage in conversation. – Molly, Albuquerque, NM
That every child would know God’s love, laugh with deep joy, sleep without fear or hunger, and dream her own big dreams—this is my Christmas wish. – Sandy, Columbia-Willamette, OR
