A Story of Recovery from CambodiaWelcome to Chanty’s (not her real name) home. The walls are covered with pictures of babies because Chanty, 21, is pregnant.
Forced into the sex trade at 13, Chanty was rescued from sex tourism and taken to World Vision Cambodia’s Trauma Recovery Center in Phnom Penh. There she found new hope and was able to reintegrate successfully back into society.
Today Chanty is married, has a good job, lives by faith in Christ, and plans to one day run her own business. Read Chanty’s story of rescue and a new chance.
